A new 12,000 gallon modular-style build Koi super-system

Update 11/06/12

Bad weather and a bit of erm….not exactly ‘great’ construction workmanship held the job up.

Thankfully Milesy and the boss man resolved it all and got it back on track after a few expletives.

I took these shots on 08/06/12 to show the real experts finishing the render on the walls – I’m told the benching to the base will be finished today 11/06/12 – weather permitting of course.

And finally groundwork preparations are being made for the filter staging –

I personally measured the levels perfectly and all by myself so you can bet your life they will be wrong – but it’s only because they sold me a faulty tape measure – it’s not my fault – honestly!

Ian took these shots today – Oh, and didn’t the lads get that base just right!

Koi Pond base being benched

I’d have liked to show you the entire filter base but someone left an old black toolbox on it, and it looks suspiciously like it’s overhanging to me…….!

Looks like Milesy has been at it again………trust him to use up all the fittings…..

Hope you noticed the canopy covering the pond, this is to get it nice and dry for the glass man, I don’t mind telling you it took me ages to install…..no one offered to help, they were all in the garage eating their butties!

More soon, Waddy.
