Here are some Eric Filters surplus to requirements

Here are some Eric Filters surplus to requirements and the reasons they are surplus.

Each has a full description and all are bargains.

FS1

This is a gravity-fed Eric Three unit inclusive of steel frame base as shown in the photo. It was installed on a customer’s pond in late 2012 alongside another identical one. I bought this one back from the customer some months ago after he realised he only needed one unit and removal would give him more space in his filter house. It comes supplied with a lid, one brush box and three large 19mm cartridge blocks. It has been cleaned up and looks pretty much like new after being kept indoors from new.

This will easily handle a 7,500-gallon pond.

Price – £900.00 with steel frame. £800.00 without steel frame.

FS2

This is a brand-new pump-fed clear PVCu version of the Eric Two filter – made for display at this year’s BKKS National Koi show and has been stored since then. It is supplied as seen with a lid, a brush box and four eMat cartridge blocks.

This unit is good for 3,500-gallons.

Price – £475.00.

FS3

This is the only ‘Erica’ made – the frames are pink, it’s gravity-fed and it’s fabricated from clear PVCu. I used this on my own 17,000-gallon pond for around 18 months with great success until I decided to push the boat out further and replace it with a much smaller model.

Cost price when new was £2,600.00.

It is sold as seen on the photo with a lid – but it’s heavy and needs to be collected.
The unit is perfectly sound but needs a brush box (£150) and it can take up to six new eMat cartridge blocks (£175 each) – but with only four eMat cartridge blocks – it can easily handle a 10,000-gallon pond.

Price £450.00.

FS4

A pump-fed Compact Filter fabricated in black polypropylene – complete with shoebox lid and aerated base. I loaned this to a customer some months ago for testing purposes but he needed some adjustments making to the drain outlet. I made him a new one to his spec and returned this one.

I have this running on my own indoor system at the moment with my own brush box and my own eMat cartridge block.
Only single problem for me is that it’s in black polypropylene and I like to see what’s going on inside a clear box.

So I’ll be changing back to my clear box soon and removing my existing brush box and cartridge block.

This really does look brand new and with be supplied with a lid, a brand new brush box and a brand new eMat cartridge block,

These can handle up to 950-gallons and sells for £395.00.

Price – £250.00.

Waddy.
