New ERIC Range Autumn Collection 2013

News bulletin 11/10/2013.

First, let’s have the good news.

There have been many small but worthwhile improvements made to all my units of late.

Eric users have made some upgrade suggestions to me and I have introduced some after experiencing my own E4 unit on my pond this summer.

All brush boxes have been updated, the E1 now has a two-stage brush box and the brand new E2 unit (that replaces the old one) has a three-stage brush box.

The remaining larger models (E2.5, E3 & E4) now all have three-stage brush boxes and all this goes towards making periodic handling and cleaning much more efficient. They are all now a much tighter fit, which makes them all far more efficient.

The air bars directly after the transfer baffles have been discontinued completely to prevent interference with the last section of the brush boxes.

The E1 and E2 units can be both gravity-fed or pump-fed and both these models are supplied with lids as standard.

Pump-fed versions of the E2.5, E3 and E4 units are available to order at a further cost of £60.00 per unit.

Now for some not-so-good news and I apologise in advance.

All Eric units are assembled from many components purchased from various suppliers and some of these components have increased in price (some three times) in recent years.

These are increases I can no longer afford to shoulder and have had to apply a 5% price increase on all units except the E1.

Regarding the E1 unit, that’s proving to be extremely popular, I’ll simply have to confess that I have under-priced the unit right from the outset, once again my apologies.

And now for a little more information I think may be of some value.

All Eric units are still hand-made and assembled to order in the UK by people who understand them completely.

All components used are also made in the UK.

Since starting to sell my filters in 2009, I have yet to have one single valid complaint that has not been put to right to the customer’s satisfaction.

Since starting to sell my filters in 2009, I have yet to hear of a single case where new outbreaks of shimi and hikui have occurred.

Should there ever be any cause for complaint regarding my filter systems the person making the complaint can bring it directly to ME.

Finally, I know I’m repeating myself but it needs to be said.

ALL my filters handle both mechanical and biological filtration inside one single outer box making them TRUE stand-alone units.

In view of this they need NO other filtration before them and NO other filtration after them.

Thanks for reading, Waddy.
