News Update

There will be more Eric installations shown throughout summer together with the ponds they filter.

Feedback so far from the existing owners has been wonderful but two people have pointed out one ‘downside’ even though I did give advance warning of this. This happens when the standpipe is removed from the drain outlet for discharge and quickly positioned to block the incoming water from the pond. There is a definite ‘knack’ to doing this unless you do not mind getting drenched from head to toe regularly! Of course, a spare standpipe does away with all of this. By placing the spare standpipe in the socket stopping the incoming water from the pond and THEN removing the standpipe to the sewer, the operative will remain bone dry throughout the operation. Once again, 4” diameter drains to waste are for Big Boys but please be assured – they work!

On May 26th. this year, it will be exactly six months since ERIC systems were launched on this website and still the UK Koi keeping public have yet to see one with their own eyes. I assure you, all this will be rectified on my ‘Waddy’ stand at the BKKS National show on the 26/27th.

June at Stafford and in late August at the South East show. I do hope to see some of you at these two major UK Koi events.

There’s always a little bad news from time to time that I must give advance notification of. Due to several increases in materials that are needed to build the units and some necessary transportation costs twixt the two companies who make and assemble the finished systems that were unaccounted for initially, there will have to be a price increase across the board. Apologies but the increase has turned out to be 15% – that’s inflation for you!

Regards to all,

Waddy.
