Blog – 06/08/12

It will take a few more days to show finished shots of the X-Stream so please bear with me.

After that, the finished unit will be rigorously put to the test on a working Koi pond together with several video clips.

X-Stream prototype

Apologies for this which will only give an idea, I’m still awaiting the frames!

Believe me, this design will raise some eyebrows within the Industry.

However, this blog is more about thanking all the Koi and pond filtration enthusiasts from all parts of the world who are visiting this website in their thousands and with every passing month the hits continue to increase in numbers.

Of course I check several times a day to see the latest hits as they are taking place and the most rewarding part of it all for me is that only a very tiny minority now click on and then click off – whilst the vast majority can be seen reading page after page for hours on end!

Bearing in mind that few do not waste their valuable time in reading the information on any website and then returning time and time again unless the information is of real interest to them.

The pages devoted to ‘horizontal-flow water’; ‘the other much less-efficient water flow patterns and the reasons why’; the ever forward-moving ‘block’ of water; ‘the dwell-time on media surfaces’ and the incredible simplicity of it all – is all absolute gospel that cannot possibly be disproved.

In short, it’s simply the truth!

And this gives the ‘thinkers’ of this world an opportunity to consider all this valuable information, which has never been voiced before.

It certainly cannot be explained in a single page of a glossy magazine advertisement because the entire ‘Eric Concept’ is totally alien to all the concepts of old and for some – this is hard to grasp or accept.

So what has this Eric concept done for Koi pond filtration since the day it was first introduced?

Well for starters it’s done away with the myth that deep ponds also need deep filters.

It’s also disproved another myth that’s gone on for years where it’s said that a filter system should hold at least 25% of the total pond water volume.

It’s also proved conclusively that an entire mechanical and biological filtration system can be cleaned thoroughly in only a matter of seconds to become absolutely brand new, together with a minimum wastage of water.

It’s also shown that high and costly flow-rates are not necessary in order to produce perfect water conditions – in fact the exact opposite is much nearer the mark.

And as far as I am aware, it’s the only combined mechanical and biological system that can be fully automated to clean itself.

Then there’s the fact that, to date, not one single new outbreak of hikui or shimi has been produced on ponds filtered by Eric units – think about it!

But much more important to all of these facts, it’s the ‘word-of-mouth’ reports given by the owners and users of Eric systems that’s really had the most impact.

Thanks to all concerned for studying the website and making it the success it is – and please keep checking back, there’s much more in the pipelines!

Waddy.
